Lean Six Sigma

Hans Vanhaute was born and raised in Belgium as the youngest of six children. He attended Ghent State University where he earned a Master’s Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

Soon after graduation, he found himself working as an expatriate for Bekaert Steel Wire Corp. in Van Buren, Arkansas. At the Van Buren facility he spent four years implementing Total Quality Management.

After a two-year stint in Belgium as a Production Manager, he returned to Arkansas to marry his fiancée Jacqueline. Upon his return to Arkansas, he went to work for Molex Inc., at the Maumelle facility.

Positions held at Molex include: Plating Quality Engineer, Senior Customer Quality Engineer, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Global Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, and most recently Quality Manager.

As Master Black Belt, Hans provides training and mentoring for Green Belts and Black Belts, consults with the Management Team regarding strategic improvement initiatives and leads several improvement activities, both at the Molex Maumelle facility, and at the Division’s Product Development group, located in Lisle, Illinois.

On occasion he also helps ASQ members prepare for their CQE Exams.

Program Order

6:00 –Meeting Begins begin networking/socializing

6:15 (Place Orders, should to be submitted by 6:15 to be served in time, continue socializing

6:30 – 7:00 Enjoy dinner and conversation

7:00 – 7:45 Speaker Presentation

7:45 – 8:15 Business meeting (if not already held)
